Our mission is to heal the brokenhearted through compassionate outreach, offering spiritual guidance and practicial support to those in need. We are committed to serving individuals in prisons, nursing homes, and hospitals, while also investing in the next generation through after-school programs and positive recreational activities for at-risk youth. By providing essential physical resources and developing uplifting community programs, we strive to bring hope, healing, and lasting transformation to every life we touch.

Jannie Cole-Barrett is the visionary founder of Feeding Sheep Ministry, a faith-based nonprofit in the Orlando, Florida area dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and transformation to those most in need. Through compassionate outreach, spiritual guidance, and practical support, she serves the brokenhearted and marginalized with deep conviction.
Her journey began in 1993 at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee, under the leadership of Dr. Alvin O'Neal Jackson. There, she began working in prison ministry alongside the late Pastor Shirley M. Prince, where her commitment deepened and flourished. She eventually became Team Leader Overseer of the women's prison ministry.
After relocating to Orlando, Florida, Jannie met her husband, Duane Barrett, and rediscovered her passion for jail ministry at Faith World under Pastor Clint Brown’s leadership. She continued serving in jail ministry alongside Pastor Rebecca and Pastor Michael LeMay.

Our team is made up of loving individuals that has a heart for others and serve as the arms of God.

We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide spiritual guidance to those in need.

We are thrilled to collaborate in various locations to fulfill the diverse needs of our community. Redeemed By God Ministries in Mississippi enables us to share the love of Feeding Sheep Ministry within their area.
